The Best of Best

Four source-supported objects connected to George Best: match-worn boots, his 1968 European Cup Final blazer and No.7 shirts for Manchester United and Northern Ireland.

The collection

A private collection measured in football history.

Built around four supported source records, this George Best collection spans club, country and personal presentation. It includes 1970s Adidas boots, the blazer associated with Manchester United's 1968 European Cup Final, a red 1967–68 United No.7 and a Northern Ireland No.7 shirt described by its auction source as reputed match-worn. A fifth spreadsheet row was excluded because it duplicated the 1964 shirt source while naming a different 1965 object.
